In May 2024, Padium in Canary Wharf lit up with the second event of the Property Padel Club, courtesy of the awesome team at BELCOR! Alongside our friends at The DSGN Studio, iwGROUP proudly sponsored this bi-monthly extravaganza, and what a smash hit it turned out to be!

Padel, a blend of tennis and squash, straight out of 1960s Mexico, brought out the competitive spirit in everyone who took part. Doubles matches filled the courts, with strategic plays and lightning-fast action mixed with a little light-hearted banter keeping everyone on their toes. Shoutout to our very own Maura Vinall for bringing her A-game!

Post matches, it was all about unwinding with some well-deserved drinks and snacks. The buzz of excitement both on and off the courts was infectious.  Fantastic to see so many real estate and tech friends connecting and having a bit of friendly competition in a relaxed environment.

Big kudos to Oli and the incredible team at BELCOR for pulling off such a stellar afternoon. And of course, a special shoutout to our very own roving reporter Tim Vincent and our superb in-house film crew Lex Parkinson and Max Burfield for capturing all the action and chatting with Oliver Cohen, Jodie Quinn plus our very own Matt Wingham and Christopher Chave-Cox.

It was great to catch up with old friends and meet so many new faces.  Roll on the next round of The Property Padel Club and friendly competition!  In the meantime… “new balls please”!
